Departmental Development Plan (DDP): This joint process allows for extensive input from departmental employees in formalizing a development process for each department within the organization. The development plan process will be focused on the definition, preparation, planning, and execution of measurables.
The DDP is composed of three components:
Individual Development Plan (IDP): Designed to formalize the individual development process and keep employees focused on the training, education, preparation, and execution so that departmental and organizational goals can be fulfilled. The IDP's primary goal is to assist employees be the best they can be through continued education, skill development, and mentoring.
The IDP has five components:
Teams Training: Explore the history and nature of teams. This training can be designed to address the use of teams in your workplace both in union and nonunion environments. Included is information in the structuring of teams, the ingredients, and behaviors for teams to be successful. Key features such as conflict resolution, diversity, power, and communication will be stressed.
