Mark Anstey.

Mark Anstey is CEO of Human Systems Development South Africa and Director of the Labor Relations / Human Resources program at Michigan State University Dubai. A prolific author, he has 6 books and over 50 articles to his credit. He has traveled extensively as a visiting scholar to teach, speak at international conferences, and to investigate shifts in the labor and political systems of the USA, the UK, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Hungary, Turkey and Tanzania.

During South Africa’s political transition, he acquired extensive experience as a mediator in labor and community disputes. For over two decades he has advised and trained in the private, public and non–profit sectors, providing assistance to employers, trade unions, government and welfare organizations at strategic and operational levels. He is a graduate of the Universities of the Witwatersrand (BA, MA) and Port Elizabeth (D.Phil).
